OUR CLASSES

We offer public classes on Thursday mornings and Saturday afternoons.  The Thursday classes are offered by Zoom only.  The  Saturday classes are offered either in-person or by Zoom. You must register for all classes ahead of time, but it's most important to register for the in-person class as space is limited.

PYC Benefit Class - Streaming

This Donation-Based class will feature a gentle asana practice followed by an iRest Yoga Nidra meditation co-taught by JoAnn Lyons and Carol Balfe. Suggested Donation $25 Join us in your comfy set up from home or you come to the studio so teachers can help you get as comfortable as possible.
iRest Yoga Nidra (from the IRest.org website): Yoga Nidra is a yogic technique that helps you investigate all that you take yourself to be - body, senses and mind. It prompts you to inquire: Am I my body? Am I my thoughts? Who am I? These inquiries reveal the changing nature of what you perceive as solid reality, but which is, in fact, constantly changing. It reveals to you that everything about the body, emotions, thoughts and the world is constantly in flux. Yoga Nidra also guides you to inquire into the “I” who is registering the fact that everything is changing - who is it that is witnessing this smorgasbord of changing phenomena?
As Thanksgiving draws near, we at PYC deeply appreciate all of you who have supported us over the years.  We are very fortunate to have as an ongoing partner, Nest Yoga Studio.  Owner Kim Lally has hosted PYC at Nest for several years, providing space and time for classes, the support of staff, and visibility to PYC through the Nest website.  Throughout the COVID pandemic, Nest supported PYC’s online classes with technology and support.
