Class and Benefit
with Richard Rosen
Join us for a Yoga Class on New Year's Day 2022. This is a benefit class for Piedmont Yoga Community, the non-profit that supports yoga classes for people with disabilities. Our classes are held on a donation basis with no one turned away for lack of funds. The money raised will go towards paying the teachers and assistants. In these difficult times, funding is getting more and more difficult especially for people with disabilities. These classes are very important to all who attend.
The class is $20 for the 90-minute class. Any amount over $20 can be used as a tax deduction.
Thank you in advance

Class Description from Richard Rosen:
Our Earth has taken another turn around the Sun, and that means it’s time to renew our practice for the coming year. We’ll start with a few rounds of Sun Salute, in celebration of the two Suns that give us life, the outer one at the heart of our system, and the inner one at the “heart” of our being. From here, we’ll move along to a sequence of the poses that form the foundation of an asana practice, the standing poses. Next we’ll work on the floor with a sampling of sitting forward bends, twists, and simple back bends. The class will finish with a short breathing practice and everybody’s favorite pose, shavasana. This class is open to all students, please join and help support PYC.
PLEASE NOTE: This class will be live-stream only.
